Yoga Gently
For students of any age looking for a slower paced class. The aim of the class is to gently stretch and open all the joints of the body, relieve tension held in the muscles and increase flexibility in all areas, including hamstrings, hips, back, shoulders and neck. Suitable for beginners and pregnant women given clearance by their doctor to practice yoga.
Yoga Basics
Introduces the main concepts of a yoga practice. Focuses on the basic form of all poses from Level 1. Suitable for beginners.
Level 1
A well-rounded practice which introduces the foundation poses and encourages students to develop a sense of what yoga can bring into ones life. Strength building, flexibility and good alignment are a focus of this class. Suitable for beginners and pregnant women with some yoga experience.
Level 2
This class will increase your strength, flexibility and stamina. A faster paced class, with continued emphasis on breathing and the alignment of body and mind. Builds on the foundation poses learned in Level 1 classes. Previous yoga experience is necessary
Vinyasa Yoga
Similar to a Level 1-2 Class except this practice consists of a set sequence and is taught in a Vinyasa / flow style. Previous yoga experience is necessary.
Yoga Therapy (private classes by appointment only)
One on one sessions designed to meet specific needs of the individual. Suitable for those with injuries or requiring rehabilitation from illness. Yoga therapy assists in reclaiming personal responsibility for over-all health by identifying and correcting necessary physical, mental and emotional changes, before the body responds with a crisis in health; and by supporting and re-balancing the system once disease has manifested.
